苹果解释为什么 iPadOS 16 最佳功能“台前调度”仅限于 M1 iPad
IT之家 6 月 11 日消息，iPadOS 16 的一项关键新功能是“台前调度”，它允许用户将 App 调整为重叠窗口，以改善多任务处理体验。
然而，该功能仅限于配备 M1 芯片的 iPad 机型，目前只有三款 M1 iPad，M1 版 11 英寸 iPad Pro、M1 版 12.9 英寸 iPad Pro 和 M1 版 iPad Air。
在与 Rene Ritchie 分享的一份声明中，苹果解释了其限制的理由：
台前调度一种完全集成的功能，提供全新的窗口体验，响应迅速，允许用户在 iPad 和高达 6K 分辨率的外部显示器上同时运行 8 个应用程序。 要提供这种用户对 iPad 触控优先体验的即时体验，需要大容量内存、令人难以置信的快速存储和灵活的外部显示 I / O，所有这些都由配备 M1 芯片的 iPad 提供。
也就是说，苹果认为只有配备 M1 芯片的 iPad 才能撑得起“台前调度”的流畅使用。
IT之家了解到，苹果也在为 iPadOS 16 添加虚拟内存交换功能，可为所有 App 拓展可用内存，同样是 M1 系列 iPad Pro 和 iPad Air 独占的。
