Thanks for this work.
This update seems to work fine.
Since previous version (lineage-19.1-20220513-microG-signed-herolte.zip), I have just some trouble with adb which remains "offline" as previously.
I will test this version a couple of days

I only have some problems with adb connexion and to activate "visual phone mailbox" as if configuration was removed. mailbox phone number was erased too.
I will downgrade to 2022-04-28 version to allow adb to operate.

unable to connect to 3 bluetooth keyboards with lineage-19.1-20220528-microG-signed-hero2lte.zip or lineage-19.1-20220514-microG-signed-hero2lte.zip

keyboards connects to lineage-18.1-20211214-microG-signed-herolte.zip and 4 other devices without an issue.

it sees the device and asks you to type in the code but never seems to accept the input, just hangs

have not tested herolte with 19.1
It works for me under lineageos 19
I don't have to enter a code, just connect, nothing more.

Trying this version, mailbox is available.
ADB connexion remains impossible on USB.

I don't use adb and don't see why I should as I install everything via TWRP, including backups.

It works for me under lineageos 19
I don't have to enter a code, just connect, nothing more.

all 4 of my keyboards ask for a pairing code they all work with 4 other devices and your android 11 rom but not android 19
tested latest also

Yes, that also happened to me. The connection still worked.
I don't know why it doesn't work for you, but check the developer settings under Bluetooth to see if something has changed.
I also had problems with the connection at the beginning, not with the keyboard but with the bose system that wanted me to enter the code.
I removed it from the list and had it search again.

Try it again.

fresh clean install ( just did it with new rom, nothing changed or installed) everything wiped but external sd card.
tried all 4 keyboards . it does not show up under previously connected devices so nothing to remove.
reset network and bluetooth setting also, no help
still fails to take the code. screen with code does not go away unless i cancel,
after even more testing i saw a toast that said wrong pin ( its was a very fast toast)when i had not yet entered anything and i have had a few double pop ups of the passcode.
then i have to search for new devices again.
it pairs to other phones easily
had a few will not connect to my bluetooth headset ( unable to communicate error) but it eventually did

When ADB is disabled on device, it is not detected. When ADB enabled, device is detected but offline, and I don't know howto set it online. Even I switch to last platform Version 33.0.2-8557947, it doesn't change anything.

I use it to copy or modify files or read logs when an application fails.

ADB works fine under TWRP 3.6.1_9-0 or using rom 19.1 update 2022-04-28.
This problem was previously solved by a new update, but I dont know changes made on device.

still not able to get it to connect to a bluetooth keyboard that asks for a passcode.

tried 4 different keyboards again. all will not accept the passcode.

You must enter the code in your keyboard see video 😉
Passcode in your keyboard end ten enter. As you can see it works .

the 4 keyboards pair with 4 other devices including your lasted LOS18 for herolte
but not with los19 on my samaung edge s7
i know how to pair keyboards.
none of them are desktop keyboards they are all tablet or phone keyboards
As you can see I tested it with taplet and desktop keyboard and it works for me.
No idea why it does not work for you.
There I am just speechless 🤔

But why do you necessarily want to connect a keyboard to the phone ?
I can not work with it at all do not get along with it lol

  • i am on magisk 24.3 there is no working solution except a upgraded kernel.
    it is a kernel issue and will never be addressed by the magisk team.
    (they have labeled it as "wontfix" https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/issues/5395 as its a mostly samsung old kernel issue)

    if you never plan to fix it with a newer kernel then zygisk will never work.
    amd magisk has stated that zygisk is the future of magisk

    that is you the developers choice. if you don't care thats your prerogative
    (i posted in two forums because they are listed as two separate developers.)

    you clearly have no idea what you are talking about so just.. stop it, i hate being rude to people and as i said this is fixed in magisk canary because magisk is what broke it to begin with, and no there was no kernel fix for this because even backporting patch from 3.19 wouldn't fix the issue magisk introduced.
    so please explain how will new magisk version not work if canary which is base for next stable is already working.

    You are clearly posting this in multiple places because you either want to piss people off or have no idea what you are talking about
