[GSI][12] LineageOS 19.x GSI (A64B/64B)

What's your status on GAPPS and SafetyNet?

  • I use GAPPS and passed SafetyNet with Magisk, etc.

Updated all variants with May security patches and in sync with PHH v413. [Insert obligatory backup-and-test warning here]

This is the first release after LOS 19.1 upstream went official - another important occasion to alarm you that you really should backup and brace for wipe. Don't say I didn't warn ya...

Cherry-picked 2 SafetyNet workarounds, not sure if they'll help.

I checked safetynet status and it failed ( Basic Intergrity & CTS profile match ) . Do I need to check/uncheck anything or install any other app to pass safetynet ?

The gesture prompt line reappears occasionally after hiding, especially when the screen is horizontal

Ha, I happen to own just this model (it's "d1x" btw). Yes it boots, but IIRC only in conjunction with MultiDisabler and no Magisk.

Hello. Which version has minimal Gapps package and lineage's phone, contacts and messages applications as default? As I understood on Gapps version they're replaced with Google phone, sms and contacts. Or not?

This uses an "OEM" GAPPS package and hence is "monolithic", i.e. no "variants" like OpenGAPPS.

As we're not far out from the June release, I'd like to ask people who have to deal with SafetyNet - did the SN-related changes in May impact you in any way, positive or negative? Please compare it to a previous build of the exact same variant (ideally from April) - just telling me "SN doesn't work on May" doesn't mean anything here.

works very well on my xiaomi pad 5 but when i try to install the gapps (i dont have the twrp) the google apps doesnt work.... any tips? thanks

There are GAPPS'd images already...? Go through the readme on SF.

@AndyYan the GSI works flawlessly but i cant access the Fingerprint option in Security. The Settings apk will crash when you choose fingerprint. Device: Redmi Note 11 Global (spes)

    updated from within the PHH settings, went fine, lost magisk but no big deal, thanks for implementing this feature as I've loads of problems with TWRP on the TAB A 500 previously, also seems that usb connections are borked to PCs?

    usb to PC will work but you have to enable it from developer otpions and then choose DEFAULT USB CONFIGURATION and enable it and choose what you want it to do. then you can plug in the phone and the usb connection to computer or whatever you choose works. Only problem is after every reboot you have to enable it again.

    Andy, were there any updates besides security patches?

    I typically don't track changes, unless it's something I deliberately changed on my side or picked from upstream (e.g. the SN workarounds in this release).

    Any way to remove green location icon?, its phone services that access the location all the time.

    Tested latest GSI on S22: Sim cards broken. Rest seems fine
