Sci-fi adventure Deliver Us Mars is coming sooner than we expected. Developer KeokeN Interactive has just announced the sequel to Deliver Us The Moon is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) on September 27. Along with the launch date, the studio also released the first gameplay trailer of Deliver Us Mars.

For those who missed the game’s initial reveal, Deliver Us Mars puts players in the shoes of Kathy Johanson, as she joins the crew of the Zephyr space shuttle on a mission to the Red Planet. The goal of her team is to save a declining Earth by retrieving vital colonization vessels known as the ARKs, which the mysterious organization Outward stole some years earlier.

The game will offer players varied platforming challenges and complex puzzles that must be solved, as well as scuba diving, floating in zero gravity and even executing a launch sequence inside a spaceship. On top of that, developers promise “a stunning depiction of Mars,” as players explore the Red Planet’s surface, the interiors of the ARK vessels, icy valleys, and abandoned colonies.

Depending on what platform you’ll be playing Deliver Us Mars, you might or might not get an enhanced experience. Publisher Frontier Foundry announced that PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S version of the game will feature real time ray traced shadows and reflections, as well as some console-specific functionality, which will be unveiled before launch.

Featuring a handcrafted experience packed with engaging gameplay and supported by music from award-winning composes Sander Van Zanten, Deliver Us Mars shapes up to be an interesting cinematic sci-fi adventure. And the best part is that this is only going to cost $30 / €30, unless you go for the PC-only Deluxe Edition (includes the original soundtrack) which will be available for $35 / €35.
