SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit – Staging Tables: release comparison
With this blog, you will discover the release comparison of the features of SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit for the “Migrate Data Using Staging Tables” approach.
We consider that the overview on which feature is available at which SAP S/4HANA release, can help you to use the migration cockpit in a full manner.
As you know, since SAP S/4HANA 2020 and SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2008, the new Fiori app (new UI) “Migrate your data” app became available. The file approach of data migration was embedded into the staging tables, meaning that you can fill the staging tables with the File templates. With the new Fiori app, a lot of functionalities have been added to the migration cockpit and therefore it is useful to make a clear overview of what comes at which release.
