苹果在 WWDC 22 上公布了 iOS 16，但该公司没有在舞台上提到的一项新功能是：iOS 16 将支持在横屏模式下使用 Face ID。

正如 iOS 16 预览页面所示，苹果表示，当 iPhone 呈横向状态时，将可使用 Face ID 进行解锁、付款、自动填充密码等操作。顺带一提，配备 Face ID 的 iPad 早已支持横向解锁。

苹果表示，该功能仅适用于「支持的 iPhone 机型」，但并未明确提及具体机型。
