i just got a redmi airdots 3 pro .... it works fine with the Chinese app and i got the firmware update for it , but for changing modes and using features it's hard to relay on the Chinese version, is there any other app for at least changing the mods ?

You can try the application I've created recently - Mi Buds M8.

The app supports the following ear buds from Xiaomi:
- FlipBuds Pro
- Redmi AirDots 3 Pro
- Redmi Buds 3 Pro
- Redmi Buds 3
- Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro (the newest ones)

- Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bz.zaa.mibudsm8
- Official website: https://zaa.bz/mibudsm8.html

Google Play way is preferable - if you install the app from the website, you won't be able to update it from the Google Play.

I'm super grateful for this, I was tired of having to use the garbage app assistant only in Chinese.
I can help you add the Spanish translation.
And I also support that you can add support to the Mi Air 2 Pro

Is there any possibility that in the future the app will work for redmi airdots 3 (chinese version)?

Hi BurgerZ,

Good work on the app. I've a lot of respect for any one who puts their time and skills into the world to make things better for people. Thank you.

I've the airdots 3 and I tried your app for these, knowing your work is experimental.

If the dots are in the case the app works. But if the dots are active then opening the app results in the app just crashing and quitting.

I'm running a red mi note 10 Pro on the latest global stock ROM.

Can I be of assistance? Long time since I messed with phones etc, but I'm sure I can find you a log file is that helps?

Hey, any news on this? I just bought the Air 2 Pro and don't even have an app for them since the Chinese one doesn't recognize them since they're the global version or something

I see support for the the air dots 3 has been withdrawn. That's a shame, but thanks for trying.

Unfortunately an XDA moderator deleted it as I was supposedly "spammy with my own links".

Well, what I can say is that since the original developer is no longer active in the project, I took the liberty of publicizing my own.

Anyone interested in helping to translate the Xiao Ai Lite app into English or your language, just search for the thread I created on my profile. There will be all the information.

I can't find your thread, could you share it again?
