了解机器翻译中的偏见
全球知名语言服务咨询机构Slator近日的一篇文章再次探讨了机器翻译中的偏见问题。（翻译动态此前已发布过两条有关机器翻译偏见的资讯：过分追求BLEU得分导致机译结果出现性别偏见、谷歌翻译因性别偏见再次引发争议。）
作者Michal Měchura是“去除机器翻译偏见工具”Fairslator的创始人，他在文章中列举了机器翻译中常见的几种偏见，包括性别偏见、单复数、语气正式与否等，并提供了解决机器翻译偏见的方法：让人类参与其中，比如手动消歧，谷歌就在一些语言对中推出了针对特定性别名词和中性代词的手动消歧功能，或像Fairslator那样，运用算法扫描源文中无法解决的歧义，再使用另一种算法根据用户的选择重新调整翻译。
