在《华尔街日报》举办的“万物未来节”（Future of Everything Festival）会议上，亚马逊设备高级副总裁David Limp表示，亚马逊当前致力于拓展旗下各种设备的能力，比如家用机器人和环境计算，亚马逊公司更多地关注开发能影响现实世界的技术，而不是所谓的元宇宙。David Limp解释说，“我确实发自内心地认为，我们希望改善当下的现实体验，我觉得这也是亚马逊公司为之投入大量时间的方面。我想试着开发出能让人们不再沉迷数字设备的技术，让人们享受现实世界。”（Economictimes）
