VESA完成首批DisplayPort UHBR视频源和显示设备认证，包括Ryzen 6000系列

视频电子标准协会（VESA）宣布，首批支持DisplayPort UHBR（Ultra-high Bit Rate）的视频源和显示设备（DisplayPort标准版本2.0所支持的更高数据链路速率）已通过了DisplayPort UHBR认证程序。AMD、联发科（MediaTek）和瑞昱（Realtek）的芯片和显示设计，已满足了DisplayPort 2.0一致性测试规范（CTS）中列出的PHY、链路和互操作性测试要求。
UHBR支持更高带宽的各种用例，比如单根线缆提供未压缩8K 60Hz HDR、4K 240Hz HDR、两台4K 120Hz HDR或四台4K 60Hz HDR显示器。2022年5月10日至12日在美国加利福利亚州圣何塞举行的显示研讨会和展览上，VESA将使用AMD和联发科的设备进行展示。
VESA表示，VESA DisplayPort授权测试中心（ATC）已准备好开始测试和认证UHBR终端产品，通过DisplayPort UHBR认证计划的产品，可以使用VESA认证的DisplayPort标志，并成为最终用途产品互操作性测试的参考设备。除了AMD、联发科和瑞昱以外，目前有更多的VESA成员公司的视频源和显示设备正在接受认证。此外，新的DP40和DP80 UHBR认证线材已完成认证并上市销售。
VESA董事会副主席兼AMD CVP和显示领域高级研究员Syed Athar Hussain表示，很高兴继续与VESA深入合作，通过使用AMD Ryzen 6000系列处理器作为经过认证的参考源设备来开发DisplayPort 2.0 UHBR生态系统。DisplayPort UHBR认证计划将确保信号源、电缆和显示器无缝互操作，并构建一个强大的生态系统，以充分发挥DisplayPort 2.0 UHBR的技术潜力。
