微软云游戏服务帮助《堡垒之夜》重回 iOS 与 Android 平台
自从 Epic Games 开始与苹果和 Google 就应用商店抽成问题展开激烈斗争后，在移动设备上玩《堡垒之夜》就变得极其困难，甚至不可能。而现在，Epic Games 决定与微软合作，通过 Xbox 云游戏服务将《堡垒之夜》免费带到支持的设备上，包括 iPhone、iPad、Android 手机和平板等。
2020 年，苹果和 Google 由于应用内支付系统问题与 Epic Games 产生纠葛，《堡垒之夜》从那时起就从两家公司的应用商店中下架了。
《堡垒之夜》是首款加入 Xbox Cloud Gaming 的免费游戏。微软表示，你只需要一个微软帐户和 iOS、iPadOS、Android 或 Windows 设备，即可开玩（服务目前仅在 26 个国家和地区开放）。服务可以直接通过网络浏览器运行，支持触摸控制和手柄。
微软表示，计划将更多免费游戏带到云端。
