I was wondering if anyone had a blank disk image for a external bootable Tiger drive for the Apple TV. I have Intel tiger restore disks so it's not piracy.

* by blank I mean fresh install.

Why do you want a "tiger" drive for the Apple TV. Never heard of such a thing. Problems include:

1. No port to connect a hard disk to the Apple TV - depending on model
2. You need the Apple TV OS in order to support Apple TV features. Not sure why you are referencing a MacOS operating system.
3. Apple TV OS has always been installed via the network.

@HDFan The 1st generation Apple TV had an Intel processor and an internal hard drive, and it was technically possible to install OS X on it. It didn't run very well due to graphics issues, but it was still something that was done.

If the OP has an original Apple TV that's probably what they're asking about. The how-tos I've seen require installing the OS to the hard drive using an existing Mac, replacing the installed kernel with a modified version, then reinstalling the hard drive back into the Apple TV.

The biggest issue now is having a Mac old enough that is capable of installing Tiger to an external drive...
