JD promotes Chinese martial artists with launch of 3,500 limited-edition digital collectibles

JD Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Chinese e-commerce powerhouse JD Group, has released a series of digital collectible for popular Chinese novelist Gu Long, who is well known for writing wuxia novels.
Wuxia is a type of Chinese fiction describing the adventures of martial artists in ancient China.
JD Cloud has partnered with the National Copyright Exchange Alliance to launch 3,500 limited-edition NFTs on its consortium blockchain “Lingxi” to commemorate Gu’s works and explore more possibilities in promoting brands and Chinese culture.
Each digital collectible on Lingxi has a “digital certificate”, which is stored with JD’s blockchain technology. Credit: JD Users can get one limited-edition digital asset for free by purchasing an incense burner of the same IP attributes, and can view the digital art form on the Lingxi platform.
Digital collectibles are minted and released on JD blockchain, the Lingxi platform is accessible through JD’s APP as a mini-program.
JD begun launching the digital collectibles in October 2021. Its first set of digital collectible came with seven limited-edition that featured JD.com’s mascot, each representing one of the company’s key sectors; retail, tech, logistics, health, finance and smart cities.
