1H 2022 Release Highlights: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits

The 1H 2022 SAP SuccessFactors release contains significant enhancements to our SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits solution. Already in preview as of April 15, 2022, the 1H 2022 release will be in production on May 20, 2022. Here’s a summary of the key enhancements, defect fixes, and other important announcements. Let’s get started!

Key Enhancements

Following is a list of key enhancements for 1H 2022:

  • Support Past-Dated Enrollments Using Jobs
With this enhancement, you can update the enrollment records for past effective date. For example, in scenarios such as retroactive change to the salary leading to changes in employee contribution, or changes to insurance rates, there is a need to update the enrollment retroactive to a past effective date. In such cases, the Create or Update Benefit Enrollments for Benefit Master Data Changes job can create or update the enrollment accordingly effective from the date of change of the salary or insurance rates.
