近日，一则“中科院因近千万的续订费用不堪重负停用中国知网数据库”的消息在社交媒体流传。4月17日，中科院某位负责人向媒体证实，网传的近“千万级别”续订费用和停用知网访问一事属实，由中科院文献情报中心发布。“自2022年4月20日起，停用CNKI数据库。”至于未来是否会恢复对知网的访问，该负责人介绍，“现在不好说，至少今年应该是没有这个计划了。”
而针对中科院停用知网的消息，4月18日，知网方面回应中新经纬称，不属实。
