If anyone is interested in native call recording through Google dialer, this one is working for me on PixelOS: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mod-root-googledialermod.4330055/
If anyone has problem with the April update and Call Recorder (skvalex), change the file recorder format to MP3. The default WAV is not working with the last update.
I'm using TWRP SKKK for alioth, try that.
With TWRP SKKK can you make a full backup even if encrypted?

I think so, but I wouldn't know why you would want to do that.

My previous workflow with TWRP was this:
1 - make a full nandroid backup before trying the new ROM version
2 - update the ROM (maybe with OTA)
3 - test if all features are working
4 - if something is not working, restore the former working ROM
As far as I know, the current official TWRP is not compatible with the Android 12 encryption, so (because I like to have my data encrypted) now I'm using PixelOS recovery which not support the nandroid backup.
Restoring my previous workflow will be nice and also safer for my phone...

Ohh okay. I suppose it works with SKKK.
First custom ROM install on the Poco F3.
This is so much better than the stock which was jank. Defo kudos to all the work involved on this!
I have a few questions/head scratchers. If anyone knows the answers that would be great!
I looked at this thread and a lot was mentioned about installing gcam as it was better camera.
I installed this with the recommended config. However, I found it worse than what was already installed. Identical shots showed the images were not as in focus as the one that came with the ROM. I then noticed that the version numbers of the two cameras were identical.
1) Does this mean that the latest version of the ROM comes with gcam already?
2) There was also mention of a setting to enable all camera lenses to be used (e.g 48MP). Couldn't see this anywhere.
In the latest release notes it says "Added themed icons for a lot of third party icons in stock Pixel launcher"
3) Does this mean that you can install additional third party icons to use with this pixel launcher? Or do I need to use something like lawnchair for this?
The release notes also mentioned "Added monet in power menu"
4) The power menu doesn't show this option. Currently shows 'Emergency, Lockdown, Power off, Shutdown'
2. I've not got the zoom to work.
3. Yes. Using Nova7 launcher with LineX icons
4. I get emergency, lockdown, Power off, restart,

1. Get the bsg cam and irnhrt profile mentioned earlier in this thread. Disable the cam that comes with the ROM. Mine actually force closes anyway
I already installed the bsg cam and irnhrt profile. See my comments. I found the results to be not as good was what comes with the custom ROM.
Looking at the gcam version from the latest update of the custom ROM it's 8.1.101.345618084.
This version is identical to the suggested one I installed earlier in the thread.
Unless I'm missing something? Looks like gcam is already installed and the results are the same if not better.

1) How can i change AOD brightness? It always has 2 positions - low/high
2) There is huge battery consumption on 12.1. It's around 3% per hour (Info showed by AccuBattery) in standby. AOD - on.
Maybe it's because of OTA update from 12 to 12.1? Or is it wrong firmware? Maybe its better to use FW 13.0.2.0 Global for 12.1? last time i have installed 12.5.6.0 global for A12 (as recomended in the tutorial).
Are there reasons for updating recovery?
