据金十 4 月 16 日报道，在 Coinbase 宣布与印度移动支付系统 UPI 合作，印度用户可通过 UPI 将印度卢比转入 Coinbase，直接购买加密货币后，UPI 对此进行了否认，此后，Coinbase 已停止通过 UPI 向其交易应用程序进行印度卢比和加密货币的转换。受此影响的不止 Coinbase 一家，至少 7 家提供加密相关交易服务的企业暂停其印度卢比存入服务等。Coinbase 高管表示，这些举措给本已下滑的交易量带来了额外压力。印度加密交易行业还准备对超过一定规模的所有加密交易征收新税，该税将于 7 月 1 日生效。
