苹果已经扩大了计划，允许客户在不更换整个设备的情况下维修他们的FaceID系统，新设备包括iPhoneX手机。iPhoneX最初被排除在该计划的名单之外。苹果今年3月份启动了这项计划，让AppleStore零售店和授权维修中心可以获得TrueDepth相机系统的零部件，并允许技术人员在不更换整个手机的情况下维修FaceID。
