4月7日消息，谷歌已从其Google Play商店中下架了几十个应用程序，此前该公司认定这些应用程序内置一个秘密获取数据的软件代码。
编写该代码的巴拿马公司Measurement Systems通过公司记录和网络注册与弗吉尼亚州一家国防承包商有联系，该承包商为美国国家安全机构从事网络情报、网络防御和情报拦截工作。
两位研究人员称，该代码在数以百万计的安卓设备上运行，并在几个下载超过1000万次的穆斯林祈祷应用程序中被发现，还内置在一个高速公路超速陷阱检测应用程序、一个二维码识别应用程序和其他一些流行的消费者应用程序中，两位研究人员在搜索Android应用程序漏洞的审计工作中发现了该代码的行为。
