3 Things I Learn about UI Design This Week.

And you also need to know.

While surfing around the internet and reading some blogs on the web I found various things that educate me more about UI design and for that time I saved them in my mind but after a few days, I forget which makes me write this blog to share some of my learning with you.. for today I’m focusing on my first and best learnings from the internet..

You might find them common but we always forget common things and these common things are most important as they are the base of design..

#1 Design That Looks Good, Is Good in UX also.

As per the Asthetic-Usability Effect, one of the laws of UX which states that when a user finds a design good looking his brain tricks him into believing that this design will work good or is working good and his brain ignores several weak points in the way and rate the app more stars as compared to the design that looks bad or mediocre but works well.

Webflow: Beautiful Landing page

every designer who knows this will not only focus on making its product more usable but also more beautiful, and vice versa.

#2 Using Images/Icons Make Design More Understandable.

Using some simple images or icons that explain the concept or your application’s idea in brief can really be beneficial for both user experience and design.. if you can include some images that explain the text or just add some icons to explain the concept can be very beneficial for your user.

Spotify: Uses Images as Cover

designers always try to add images inside the design in various forms like illustrations, icons, etc.. because they know that a picture can say a thousand words.

#3 Consistency Is The Key To Better Designing.

Consistent design is the basis of designing a supper design.. a design that looks and feels great as well as works incredibly. consistency is the thing we expect from everything, from humans to design, and when the expectations of your user are met they feel great and like your design much more..

Twitter: Uses Blue Color Consistently inside its UI design.

Using the same colors, font, shapes, phrases, icons, and images consistently can literally make your design recognizable and branded.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading this short blog, I would love to write detailed blogs next time if you show a good response to this blog. thanks for reading hope you learn something or just remembered it.
