如果IPTV机顶盒附近没有网线接口，重新布线困难，那么可以考虑使用TP-LINK电力线适配器，利用家庭已有电力线连接ADSL Modem与IPTV机顶盒，无需额外布线，具有一定的可移动性，即插即用、高速稳定，是一种理想连接方式。
如下图所示方案：
方案特点：
1）利用电力线网络连接ADSL Modem与IPTV机顶盒，不受已有网络限制，无需额外布线； 2）有插座的地方就能实现连接，即插即用，移动便捷；
3）TP-LINK电力线适配器利用实体电力线传输数据，速率高达200Mbps，抗干扰能力强，连接时延小，满足IPTV在线应用；
4）需要增加交换机设备与电力线适配器，成本相对较高，但绝对物有所值。
