微软CFO：疫情彰显Windows操作系统重要性
财经网科技3月9日讯，据新浪科技消息，在摩根士丹利技术、媒体和电信会议上，微软CFO艾米·胡德（Amy Hood）表示，疫情期间，Windows操作系统营收增长在新冠疫情期间都在加快。
在萨提亚·纳德拉（Satya Nadella）2014年接替史蒂夫·鲍尔默（Steve Ballmer）出任微软CEO后，该公司就不再以Windows为优先发展方向，而是把更多重点放在跨平台服务和云计算基础设施上。但新冠疫情暴发后，情况似乎发生了变化。微软2020年表示，人们花在Windows 10上的时间大幅增加，这种情况持续至今——微软2021年第四季度Windows营收增长近20%。
胡德总会在微软财报电话会议上谈论Windows，而在前两次会议上，她也透露面向设备制造商的Windows销售增速快于预期，这都得益于强劲的PC市场，尤其是单位收入较高的商业设备。
胡德表示：“我们过去几年都认识到大屏设备的作用。每个家庭平均拥有的PC数量在增加，人们在PC上花费的时间也在增加。此外，它也在办公中扮演重要角色。”
