Welcome to HackerNoon’s Writing Prompts! If you’re an actual winner of an award, or simply feel like a winner today, the link for the template is HERE.

Hey Hackers! I’m Vitaliy Dyachenko and I’m the CEO & founder of UppLabs.

First of all, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the HackerNoon community for recognizing UppLabs as the winner of:

The 2021 Hackernoon contributor of the year – MVP: https://www.noonies.tech/award/2021-hackernoon-contributor-of-the-year-mvp

HackerNoon Reporter: What does it mean for you to win this title?

I’ve read HackerNoon as long as I remember. And having my team as a winner among noonies is a greate honor!

How do you or your company intend to embrace the responsibility of this title in 2022?

We are going to spread the word about technology and share our knowledge with the Hachernoon community.

What are some of the goals you’re looking forward to accomplishing in 2022 (whether it be through company initiatives or your personal journey)?

UppLabs is the company that develops secure and compliant software for fintech, healthcare, real estate businesses eager to be #1 in their niche. At the beginning of my business journey, I graduated from Google Product School and even co-owned several startups. With a solid technical background, during my professional career, I gained experience working on building financial products for large companies including CitiBank, Deloitte, and SimilarWeb.

Then, in 2014, I decided to found my own company that will specialize in Fintech services and solutions. The experience I received throughout my developer’s career was crucial for the first UppLabs clients in finance.

Among the goals, I want my company and its’ expertise to grow. We’ll become better, faster, more skillful and gain more niche clients.

As you look at the variety of concerning trends in the world around you, what solutions can you think of? Name three trends and three solutions. Be as brief or as detailed as you like.

With the rise of neo banking, UppLabs started developing KYC using 2D and 3D liveness detection integrated with AI and various bank verifications. That is the most exciting and interesting tech for me now. So, as trends, I would name DeFi, mobile-first, and biometrics.

What is something special about you or your company that you’ve rarely had the chance to properly share but really wanted to? (Give this one a proper think, I’ll know if you didn’t!)

I am a very practical person and truly believe in initiative. So I always tell others that ther’’s nothing to be afraid of when you start something, all you need to do is to investigate the topic and try your best. Like in the famous expression ‘just do it’.

What are some concepts you wish people knew more about?

I am a big fan of Flat Organizational Structure (and try to imply it in UppLabs). Once I found a book of Tony Hsieh (Zappos CEO) called Delivering Happiness. It changed my perception of entrepreneurial endeavors and I am thankful to Tony for his input in the business.

Is there anything else you’d like me to know? It can be anything.

Here in UppLabs, after entering the global market, we provided 50+ successful setups of dedicated development teams’ projects, developed 1000+ successful deployments of out-of-box solutions, and 150+ deployed projects. We focus on Fintech (and develop fintech web and mobile apps, online trading and exchange platforms, money transactions platforms, integrate and optimize payment systems, maintain, modernize and update existing systems), but also proficient in Healthcare and Real Estate. MLS integrations, complex software and device integration for hospitals and clinics, different CRM & CMS solutions, vendor and property management software, HIPAA-compliant software. And so on. We are really good in regulations and try to follow every guideline to make software maximum safe. https://upplabs.com/portfolio/ here you can find some of our case studies.

Thank you for everything that you do! – HackerNoon Team.
