2月19日，以太坊生态链游平台 Gala Games 宣布将于几周内启动其专有区块链网络Gala Chain的测试活动。Gala Games 表示，Gala Chain将拥有正式项目代称Project GYRI，相比以太坊，Project GYRI 将拥有更快的交易速度、更低的能耗、更低的网络费用，以及更低的铸币成本，同时有助于提升 Gala World 的互操作性。 据悉，本次测试活动预计将以测试版游戏的方式进行，旨在方便玩家更直观的感受到 Project GYRI 的运作方式。在测试版游戏内，玩家可通过游戏来赚取名为TEST的 Token，TEST 可在其他 Gala Games 平台游戏中用于升级和赚取奖金等，但无法转让或出售。（Medium）
