《消逝的光芒2》Steam在线峰值超过24万人，是《生化危机8》在线峰值的2倍还多，同时也是1代游戏《消逝的光芒》在线峰值的5.35倍。
Steam在线峰值：
《消逝的光芒2》：24万5553人
《生化危机8》：10万6631人
《消逝的光芒》：4万5876人
在《消逝的光芒2》发售前，《生化危机8》一直是Steam上首发人数最多的僵尸/恐怖游戏（除了《求生之路2》），所以《消逝的光芒2》这次超过《生化危机》，可以说是现象级了。
根据Capcom上个月发布的财报，《生化危机8：村庄》销量超过了570万套，是系列销售速度最快的作品。
