YouTubers everywhere dread the first stage of editing: removing the silences. I've made hundreds of videos for my startup's YouTube channel in the last year, and I've drained countless hours clicking and splitting just to end up with a rough cut ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’จ

So, we decided to make Smart Cut! Smart Cut uses AI to delete silences from your video automatically, in just two clicks ๐Ÿคฏ It supercharges the Kapwing online editor so that creators can increase the tempo of their video, grow an audience, and engage their viewers and community.

Great idea, I need this to be done on my machine without going online. Internet is not fast/cheap/secure everywhere :) I expect to find a py script that creates jump cuts for me or it could be a nice OSS idea. Btw, it is great to see you applied your product to the promo video ;) Congrats, good luck!

Oh this is perfect! I'm not proud of my video editing skills, so when I'm tasked with editing videos and having to chop away silences, for instance, I end up spending hours trying to fiddle and perfect it. This is a good tool to cut down the amount of time we spend on video editing.
