英特尔通知员工，如果没有宗教或医疗方面的原因得到豁免，不接种疫苗的人将从 4 月开始休无薪假。英特尔上个月要求员工在 1 月 4 日前接种疫苗或者寻求豁免，理由是联邦政府对承包商的要求。在 12 月 7 日的备忘录中，负责人事的高管 Christy Pambianchi 告诉员工，1 月 4 日的疫苗接种截至期限仍然有效，未接种疫苗的员工必须寻求宗教或医疗方面的豁免，无论是否远程工作，需要每周接受测试。英特尔将在 3 月 15 日前审查豁免申请。没有获得豁免的未接种疫苗员工将于 4 月 4 日开始休无薪假，至少三个月，但不会被解雇。
