Does anyone know any kernel for display overclocking working on android 11. I used to have seshstation 71hz kernel at android 10. After update to android 11, Installation of that kernel gives bootloop.

Any timeframe as to when the PE 12 will go public from beta?

same case to me. all is well before i flashed it. now never ending bootloop even im in stock rom now.

does yours normally boot when connected to the charger, and wont if not connected also?

thanks!
Yes, initially it was working normal, then random reboots happened while connected to charger. It would reboot immediately after disconnecting cable. Then it was rebooting while using phone randomly again. Suddenly it went to bootloop and it won't turn on in PE11.

Later I reverted to stock miui 12.0.3, again I got 2 random reboots. I thought I have to replace battery.

As a last resort I tried Awaken os running Android 12, as one member commented there was no reboot issues there. So far using it a day tried connecting and disconnecting charger multiple times the issue didn't recur. Let's hope for best.

So far I like the rom with new looks.

Hello guys,

For users who complain about Battery, here some results with Stock Kernel (Etude), No Root, Battery Capacity Health at 3111, Normal Use - No Gaming.
Battery: 10%, Screen On Time: 8h, 2min, Last Full Charge: 1 day ago.

So I don't know how you treat your device, what apps you use, what modules/mods you use, what cable to charge your device you use or how much damaged is your battery but mine (and for the most users) 3 years old device still doing fine with Pixel Experience everything at stock. So I don't see where is the problem with ROM and Kernel which you complain.

As I said in my previous post:
  • Do Clean Install of the ROM (and Dirty Installation Updates afterwards) according to my guides.
  • Do Battery Calibration according to my guides.
  • Do not use weird root modules, mods and apps.
  • Take a look at Battery Tips and at Privacy & Security in my guides.
  • Find a legit Battery Replacement and replace it according to this video.
You can find everything in my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides thread.

Xiaomi Poco F1

I had real heavy battery drain with the October release and it was solved by updating to the November release. Battery lifetime doubled again back to normal after updating.

I am not sure if there was actually a fix for the battery drain or if my phone was trying to load the update all the time. I noticed that my mobile data was also being used for downloading the update in the background even though I did not start the download manually. I did not even see a notification for the download.
Yes, there was a bug in several versions, fixed in November build. Constant download of system updates, resulting in decreased level of deep sleep and increased battery drain. Other phones still suffer - see e.g. https://github.com/PixelExperience/android-issues/issues/1008

Hi all,

Small but annoying bug: I use gesture navigation. After I use the "home" gesture, I allways have to wait like 1 sec to tap on some icon on the screen. If I don't wait, the app which I tapped does not launch.
I use Nova launcher, but this happens in all launchers that I tested - except on Pixel laucher, which comes pre installed.

Any help? Is it just me or everybody not using Pixel launcher are facing this?

BTW, I'm on the latest build.

Thanks in advance.

Noticed this issue in 3rd party launchers. Tried with Nova and Lawnchair, both have slight delay before you can open app after going to home screen. Only solution I can find is to stick to default Pixel launcher

Download the build from the website, reboot to TWRP manually and flash it. You can also use my "Clean" Dirty Flash Guide to flash the update. You can find it at my POCO F1 Ultimate Collection & Guides or at #2.
Seems the OTA have some issues for some users.
BTW, December build will be rolled out very soon. You may wait for it if you want.

After checking what process caused the data hogging issue I found this to be the culprit.

You can block both domains in the hosts file and the issue should be resolved for now.

    November update is rolling out!
    Download

Thank you very much for your elaborate answer I will definitely try some of these tips.
I also wanted to ask if anyone managed to use Revolut with PE11+. It says Gplay says it's not compatible with this version. I tried hiding and renaming magisk but the problem persists.
I use Revolut fine but I am not rooted. Check the safetynet fix in my collection at Magisk Root section.
Also delete the TWRP folder from the Internal Storage.
I too experience somohow worse battery life. I even changed my battery because I thought the old one is K.O. It got better but still not great. I am getting around 4,5 SOT. About 2% idle battery drain. Quite bad for a new battery. I am on October build but I experienced it on September build too.
I really like how all of you complain about battery but none of you provided a graph, stats, detailed usage and a screenshot with Battery capacity health ("adb shell dumpsys battery" - while ur phone is 100% charged).
Which new battery did u bought? Because there are lof of "fake" original batteries out there.
