Hey Product Hunters! 🎉

If you're an agile methodology enthusiast or have just started to explore project management, you already know about Kanban Board. The challenge with a traditional flat Kanban board is that there is no way to show the relationship between root tasks (parent tasks) and their subtasks.

Quire is well-known for its infinite nested task list, which helps to provide more contexts and details for a project manager. However, when switching to the Kanban Board view, the awesomeness of the Quire nested task list... sort of disappears! Bummer! 🤨

Realizing preserving the task hierarchy is critical for some users especially in the Kanban view, Quire team found a way to let users show the subtasks nested under their parent tasks as a "bundle" so that you will never get lost with your tasks again! You can see all of the tasks are now grouped within their task nodes. Instead of detaching the subtasks from their parent tasks, now your task list visualizes the relationship between all the tasks together. 😎

Have fun! If you have anything to let us know, leave us a review!

@peggy_chang Thanks! That’s what we have been waiting for a long time. It’s a perfect match to switch between a nested task list and a nested board (and a timeline)!

Congrats on the launch. My developers prefer 2 level maximum, how would you convince them that your product is worth trying?

@bogomep We have member permissions that prevent users from adding tasks to the task list. A project admin can just add 2 levels and other members can just work on the tasks that they are assigned.

Not a perfect solution to your question, but definitely worth to try out :)
