If the growing speculations on Google #Tensor being based on Exynos prove true I wonder if is adopting a similar strategy as the "acquisition"of HTC's people. Samsung's customer today to become the only customer without acquiring the company but getting all the tech
Looks true, but it’s a good starting point. Apple starting with Cortex and Imagination cores. I’m just hoping they stop starting over every year and spend a good decade growing this out!

To people annoying me for calling the Google Tensor an Exynos variant, or keep brining up Samsung into the discussion.

Based on what I know, don't expect that any time soon.

Also the cores or GPU don't matter, it's the SoC fabric and little bits that make a SoC different from another, and Exynos vs a Kirin vs a Dimensity are very different to each other even with the same big IPs.

That’s fair. It just seems like every generation of Pixel is a restart and that prevents the year-over-year iteration we see from other vendors that really add up over time

I’m hoping there’s at least a 5 year plan this time
