People still misrepresent/misunderstand the AMD L3 issue. It was never *slower*. It was just smaller. It was actually a great proof that they can partially power down the cache.

I don't understand how a smaller size being active can affect the latency results from Aida 64 though? Asking as a non techy enthusiast
AIDA doesn't have a clue about where the L3 is. They just test a fixed test depth of ex. 4-6MB, if the cache is in low power mode at 2/3MB you're just measuring DRAM.

Misunderstanding or not Win 11 botched Zen CPU performance and they still haven't fully fixed it compared to Windows 10.
How so? They fixed both the major bugs, what's different now? I get exactly the same scores I used to get on my old Win10 Pro ISO now that I have updated both the OS and the chipset driver. I'd like to know what's not working the same as it did with Win10 for you.
