据科技媒体 engadget 报道，凭借 Google 自研的 Tensor 芯片，新登场的 Pixel 6 系列可以实现一些特别的 AI 功能，而 Live Translate（即时翻译）便是其中非常实用的一个。
它能依靠 Tensor 专门的隐私运算核心而非云端处理来为文字聊天进行双向的即时翻译。目前 Google 已确认，该功能初期支持的语言只有英语、法语、德语、意大利语和日语这五种，中文暂不在支持范围。对于时常要跟外国人聊天的用户来说，Live Translate 应该能带来不小的帮助。除了它之外，在 Tensor 的加持下 Pixel 6 系列的语音识别能力也变得比过去更强。
