AirPods now fully compatible with MagSafe

It was already possible to charge AirPods with a MagSafe Charger (if you had a Wireless Charging Case or AirPods Pro) since it uses the same Qi charging technology found inside most wireless charging pads on the market today.

But earlier AirPods Charging Cases didn’t include the magical magnets that allowed them to be secured to MagSafe accessories like iPhone 12 and 13. Apple changed that with its most recent AirPods refreshes.

That means you no longer have to worry about AirPods being knocked off their charger, or having to place them down just right to ensure they charge at all. It also means they now work with other MagSafe accessories, like vertical mounts.
