Verification of requirements

Before continuing it is necessary to have:

● An Android smartphone

● An Internet connection

● The right model of scooter Xiaomi Mijia

 

There are two models: a standard one and a more powerful one. If the serial code on the front wheel is on a single line, it has the most powerful version. If the serial number is in two lines, you have the standard version. This information will help us later in choosing the firmware.

The essential requirement to use this trick is to have the "two fuses" version.

To recognize it, simply verify the code (XXXXX / YYYYYYYYY) shown on the label on the side of the scooter.

The values of XXXXX can be of type 5:

13678 China white

16057 Juvenile

16132 European white

Check the date of manufacture of the battery: must be after March 2017

13679 China black

The verification of the YYYYYYYYY part must report a value greater than 35000.

16133 European Black (Fuses 2)

He's definitely in fuses 2.

According on the model, check the "two fuses" essential requirement.

Choose firmware

In downloaded ZIP package you will find files 7.

 

The two tracks surrounded with a green circle are the modified firmware: 200CFW.bin and 200CFW_W.bin. The former (200CFW.bin) guarantees maximum performance, but tends to stress the battery and engine and should therefore only be used with the "most powerful version" (see point 1 of the guide).

The five files bordered with orange are old unmodified versions and useful for making a degradation.

Firmware installation

The author of the files suggests uninstalling the Xiaomi and Ninebot applications or disassociating them. We didn't have any problems even though we didn't follow these instructions. Make sure, however, that these are not in execution.

● Turn on the scooter (Charge at least 70%)

● Start the application m365 DownG

● Click on Connect With Us

● Wait for the scooter to appear in the list and select it.

● Once connected, press Open Cube

● Select the downloaded firmware 200CFW_W.bin

● Click on Flash Compartment

● Wait until the operation is over.
