What is a microprocessor?

A microprocessor is the brains of a computer in a circuit chip. This processing device is made ofcomponents which containarithmetic, logic and control units that enable a computer to function. Without one, a computer cannot work as this is the central system which processes everything and enables it to do its’ job. 

Microprocessors are found in computer systems and many devices, particularly in our modern world where so many products, industries and services are now digital.
