芯片制造商英特尔的图形产品负责人Roger Chandler和首席游戏官Roger Chandler在接受Gadgets 360采访时表示，英特尔正在设计的基于Xe-HPG架构的Arc和Alchemist系列GPU产品没有任何挖矿保护功能，即不会限制加密货币挖矿。此前英伟达在5月18日表示，公司限制了三款新显卡（RTX 3070，RTX 3080和RTX 3060 Ti）的挖矿能力，并将其标记为“低算力”。英伟达通过将新显卡算力降低50％，来确保其高端GPU最终落在游戏玩家手中，而不是落到以太坊矿工手中。
