英特尔下调服务器芯片价格以遏制 AMD

英特尔据报道正以折扣价出售其服务器芯片以吸引计划采购 AMD 芯片的客户重回其怀抱。AMD 的服务器芯片性能高于英特尔的同类产品，但供应受制于台积电的产能。相比下英特尔有自己的工厂芯片供应更充足，它手中也有充沛的现金流。AMD 在服务器和工作站市场获得了越来越高的市场份额，Puget Systems 的统计数据显示，AMD CPU 的份额从 2020 年 6 月 5% 增加到了 2021 年 6 月的 59%，而英特尔剩下 41%。在全球服务器市场，因供应问题，AMD CPU 的份额从 2021 年第一季度的 10.5% 减少到了第二季度的 9.5%。
