America should've abandoned their occupation by winning this war during the 20 years of fiasco. They had ample chances to win. It was time to get out and Biden did the right thing. If a crooked Afghani government and their toy soldiers cannot defend their own nation, then nobody can. The "experts" that want to stay in Afghanistan are the war profiteers such as the American contractors, US military establishment and corrupted Afghani and American generals!

The “competence” of the US leadership has been on full display this week in Afghanistan. Where European leaders have openly criticized US leadership or lack of same in the unfolding disaster. Where Afghans are being executed by Taliban in major numbers. How could our PM secure any sensible policy agreement with President Biden based on his astonishing Afghan failure that has been deployed by America’s allies across the globe ?

Always worth mentioning the Iran Deal was always designed merely to delay, not prevent, Iran from becoming a nuclear armed nation. And neither Pres Biden nor Pres Obama ever criticized the Iranian gov’t for frequently asserting its plans to destroy Israel.

Given what’s going on any agreement made with Pres. Biden is not worth the ice its written upon.

Hezbollah is buying time. So are the the Taliban and so will Hamas. This is in full coordination with Iran. The Taliban charm offensive is being coordinated by their partners to seize all weapons in Afghanistan and make their people in a weak and a desperate , more submissive state and galvanize world support to be recognized so they can seize the 10 billion from their central national bank. It is also because the Taliban and Iran want the US to fully exit and therefore they seal their defeat. The other more important angle which is relatively hidden is that Iran is using the Taliban to rebrand extremism as reasonable and calm. The Iranians are trying to push their nuclear program past the point of no return and cross the threshold. They want leftists in the US and EU to stay anti-war and consider them to be a shield and barrier to any response from the West and EU as the Iranians believe they can push to the end of this quickly as long as the US have no excuse to go back to Afghanistan right now and the US administration continues to use the excuse of ending the “endless wars” to justify their failures. The Taliban and Iran are no different than a lion calmly following its prey and quietly trying not to startle it. The time to stop Iran is now.

Interesting meeting. Bennett should politely remind Biden that a respectable country like the US cannot allow the mullahs to take advantage of the Taliban to gain ground on nuclear threat. And that Israel is not Afghanistan and will never allow Iran to deny this very truth.

The absurd overreaction to this law make Bennett and Lapid look like amateurs celebrating their "own-goal" loss.  It is a part of an ill-advised strategy of undoing Netanyahu's diplomatic outreach to Eastern Europe and pivoting towards Western Europe.

If Israel can have diplomatic relations with actual former enemy states like Egypt and Jordan out of self-interest, then it should be able to so with Poland and other Eastern European states for the same reason.

Bennett and Lapid need to reexamine their actions and end the self-defeating policy they are embarking on.
