印度共享出行服务公司Rapido获5200万美元融资

据外媒报道，印度共享出行服务公司 Rapido 宣布已于近日成功筹集 5200 万美元融资。此轮融资为 C 轮，除 Westbridge、 Nexus Venture 等主要投资方参投外，还有 Shell Ventures、Yamaha 等新投资方的加入，融资后估值将达到 2.35 亿美元左右。截止到目前为止，该公司已经筹集超过 1.3 亿美元融资，其中，上轮融资时间是 2019 年 8 月，金额为 5500 万美元左右。
Rapido 由 Aravind Sanka、Pavan Guntupalli 和 Rishikesh SR 于 2015 年成立，主要是通过电瓶车为用户提供出行及物流运输服务。该公司拥有 1500 多万名用户和 150 万个司机，业务广泛分布在印度将近 100 个城市中。除此之外，Rapido 还在近年开发了三轮车出行服务，且其三轮车业务在 2020 年实现了 400% 的增长，已扩展至印度的 26 个城市。
Rapido 联合创始人 Aravind Sanka 说，目前，85% 的业务已经恢复正常，公司过去的发展也得益于印度电商和同城速递服务的兴起。并表示希望在未来 18 个月内将客户数量能增加到 5000 万。此外，还将把所筹资金用来提高技术能力，进行战略投资，扩充团队人员。
