Developer 1C Entertainment has just confirmed that King’s Bounty II has gone gold and is on track for its August 24 release date. The direct sequel to the first King's Bounty game promises a deeper narrative and meaningful choices that will influence your gameplay experience in ways that none of the previous titles did.
The upcoming turn-based tactical RPG has also received its first official gameplay trailer, which offers fans of the franchise a taste of everything that awaits them in the full game, where wits, exploration skills, and ability to build and command a personal army are the tools needed to restore peace and order in a kingdom on the brink of collapse.
Set in the kingdom of Nostria, King's Bounty II throws players into a world of conspiracies, sabotage, and necromancy. Counties are demanding independence, bandits prowl the roads, and rumors about the overwhelming power of Blight emerge from a whisper in the dark.
PC players will be happy to know that 1C Entertainment was kind enough to reveal the minimum and recommended system configurations for this specific platform. So, the minimum requirements to run King’s Bounty II are as follows: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-4690 or AMD FX-9370, GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480 (4 GB), 8 GB RAM, DirectX 11, and 20 GB HDD.
As far as the recommended requirements go, here is what you'll need to properly run King's Bounty II: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 (6 GB), 8 GB RAM, DirectX 11, and 20 GB SSD.
Keep in mind that when 1C Entertainment's King’s Bounty II will launch on August 24, it will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Those who pre-order the game will receive some exclusive bonuses: Hounds of War Warhorse, Elite Guard premium pack, Flaming Eagles, Firehand Golems, and Armored Princess's Shield.
