The Nvidia RTX 3060 should have been the chosen one for budget PC builders with its low starting price and great performance. But, right alongside the rest of the RTX 30-Series lineup, the RTX 3060 has seen its inventory constrained and quickly gobbled up by crypto miners.
Perhaps the easiest route to take is going with a pre-built gaming PC. A good many PC builders have included the RTX 3060 as an option in their builds. Even if you don’t need an entire PC, you’d at least be getting a little something extra for your money rather than simply overpaying for a graphics card alone.
Otherwise, getting your hands an RTX 3060 right now is still about as tricky as any of the other RTX 30-Series cards, but that’s not to say it’s impossible. If you want just the card alone, it’s going to be a matter of luck, paying well above retail, or waiting. You may have a shot in a Newegg Shuffle or waiting in line at a Micro Center, but there’s no guarantee of getting one that way. Recent Newegg Shuffles have had lots of options, but even then, you might get forced into a bundle or only get to choose from more expensive models that stray considerably from the price of the RTX 3060 FE. If you’re in the UK, Scan and Overclockers have a number of options available that are still marked up, but not sitting at double their retail value. If you’re waiting for better options, stay tuned, as we’ll be keeping this guide updated with any stock we find.
Nvidia RTX 3060 stock: try these retailers
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 was released at 9am PST / 12PM EST / 5PM GMT on February 25 and predictably sold out everywhere within the hour.
