乌克兰议会周三通过一项规范支付方式的法律。新的支付服务法仅简要提及未来的CBDC，但正式将尚未推出的电子格里夫纳（乌克兰的本国货币）与现金、银行账户和电子支付等同起来。该法律提到「乌克兰国家银行的数字货币，即乌克兰记账单位的电子形式，其发行由乌克兰国家银行管理。」（Coindesk）
