What’s new?

I published a Value Blog on the Enterprise Management Layer for SAP S/4 HANA on March 15, 2021. Today’s blog provides updated information.

Multiple RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition customers chose to jumpstart their implementation project with the enterprise management layer for SAP S/4HANA. They use the enterprise management layer as a solid foundation to define their global template that they will implement across all countries, hence reducing the TCI and gaining speed.

We have also provided the enterprise management layer to several on-premise customers that chose our solution template for their transformation journey to SAP S/4HANA in a greenfield approach.

While these projects are ongoing, two customers have recently gone live after respectively 5½ and 7 months with our predecessor service, which is comparable to the enterprise management layer.

“…provided guidance and enablement to a system integrator using the “show and tell” approach during the Explore phase and leveraged the pre-built content for SAP Model Company. This enabled us to stay within the planned timeline of seven months.”

“Solution Design reviews leveraged SAP Model Company extensively to design a template solution that can be globally rolled out with ease in subsequent project phases.”

“The use of these accelerators together with the strict fit to standard approach is what enabled us to deliver according to promise within the challenging timeframe.”

New Content Available

We have updated our content on the SAP Best Practices Explorer with new and updated documentation, for example functional documentation for new scope items in the area of Accounting and Localization. More will become available soon.

We are also planning to add more business processes over time, for example for Inhouse Repair and Recurring Services, for Cross-Plant Stock Transfer as well as additional Intercompany Processes.
