Identifying the Hidden Threat • CryptoMode

Whether it’s cybersecurity or basketball, the biggest threat is often the unseen one – before it’s too late. At first it seems like the 2 industries don’t have much in common, but it’s easy to write off a threat that you do not see.

Threats have been leading the headlines in the news: the Colonial pipeline ransomware case led to panic and gas shortages across 45% of the east coast. This cost a $4.4 million ransom to be paid to Darkside – which interestingly has been at least partially recovered by the FBI.

Similar to the cybersecurity world – if we look into basketball statistics, most sports people focus on simple vanity metrics. There’s a better measure to identify offensive threats like the 50-40-90 metric – an elite club that only 9 NBA players and 1 WBNA player have attained.

Tobias Harris is an under the radar threat – currently in the playoffs and just came off a breakout year of career-high stats, narrowly missing the 50-40-90 club.
