That’s cool! But how does it actually work?
STEP 1
Package
Whether you are testing your app internally or are preparing for a worldwide launch, you only need to upload the files required to launch your application.
No need to write a comprehensive .json documenting the internal structure of your app. It just works.
STEP 2
Generate
Upload your files to Pakkly and we will generate the necessary installation binaries for all your chosen platforms.
You may choose to sign them as this can increase user trust, however this is optional.
STEP 3
Publish
You will receive installer URLs that will stay constant for the duration of your project. You can distribute these URLs to your clients for installation.
Now that clients have the software, how does releasing updates work?
Releasing updates works in the same way as publishing. Simply drag-and-drop your files to make it instantly available for your clients. The next time they start your application it will self-update to the latest version.
If you distributed Installer URLs to your clients these will now point to the latest version of your software.
