Next Wednesday (26th May) product managers around the world will celebrate World Product Day — now’s the time to explore our timetable of events and see how you can get involved.

What is World Product Day?

In 2018 when we celebrated the eight-year anniversary of the first ProductTank meetup — ProductTank communities from across the globe came together to discuss product management, revealing the many different perspectives that different cultures bring to the craft. To us, it made sense to turn this anniversary into an annual celebration. We called it World Product Day and today the event continues to bring people together to celebrate, connect, and learn.

How to get involved in World Product Day?

We’ve spent the last year learning how best to emulate the ProductTank experience in a digital format and while nothing can replace in-person events, we know ProductTank is about meeting with peers to discuss what you love about product management — this World Product Day you can do just that, wherever you are in the world.

Join us in our 24-hour networking room, watch amazing speakers on digital stages, and participate in important product discussions on social media.

Here are 3 easy way to get involved:

1. Attend ProductTank events for free

More than 50 ProductTanks from across the globe will host free events throughout the day and they’ll be streamed on the Mind the Product YouTube channel. Check our World Product Day timetable

2. Meet your peers in our 24-hour networking room

Our networking room will be hosted on Wonder, a fun virtual space, from 12am – 11:59pm BST on the 26th May. The room link will be posted here on the 26th

3. Join social media discussions

You’ll see discussions happening throughout the day on Twitter, Linkedin, and Slack (follow #WorldProductDay). We want to hear your product management hot takes, how you first got into product management, your greatest product memories, and anything else you can share that will help the rest of the product community!
