1999年，腾讯模仿国外聊天工具ICQ，推出了QQ的前身OICQ。一年后，ICQ的母公司AOL给当时还是小透明的腾讯发了律师函，告诉腾讯要么改名要么等着上法庭，腾讯无奈只能把OICQ改名为QQ，改名之后，腾讯业务蓬勃发展，用户也突破了2亿，此时，另外一个QQ出现了，那就是当时的国产现象级车型，奇瑞QQ。
