What is Lead Market?
LeadMarket is India’s Largest Marketplace of pre-qualified leads for Insurance, Mutual Funds, Loans, Real Estate and Stocks. The customer can enjoy the option to buy and manage the leads of their choice of financial products and real estate they deal with. Leads are generated through our parent company — IndianMoney.com, registered under Suvision Holdings Private Limited.
Re-Designing LeadMarket with Better User Experience
Across the LeadMarket, we recently launched a new design that brings better user experience, more inclusive of our product. Inspite if facing challenging questions in implementing the redesign, Such as, “How to modernize and refresh the user interface (UI) across the whole application that has over 50 Pages” and “How do our users take it back from our platform?”,the proven mettle of how a small group of designers and developers worked together in symphony and launched the LeadMarket 2.0 in less than 50 days successfully.
Why Redesign?
The poor build and construct of the application from the UX/UI point of view could use a change of approach and represent ability. The main objective of the team was to make Lead purchasing much easier irrespective of the device or the location used to operate the application.
The redesigning helped achieve the goal on a 100% successful note with better reach to its audience
Thinking through our Design Process
To start with the design infrastructure, the team had to create a plan for how to implement the new design. Changes had to occur across our Android & iOS at the same time.
We narrowed it down to two paths:
- Redesign and move to the new UX infrastructure to fully embrace the new design system, or
- Embrace as much of the new design language as we can today, while enabling us to later fully adopt the new design system in a transparent and seamless manner.
As we prioritized continuous development of new features and a faster path to deliver the new design to our ever growing customer base, we had to get the app ready in a short span of time.
Challenge
Create an inclusive feeling experience for users interacting with our app in real time and experiencing in open space, while maintaining key features important to agents such as Product, Pin-code, and Investment Amount.
The Redesign
Splash Screen
- First thing that we did was, to change the color of the splash screen from Blue to White.
- Have given the minimal and classy feel to the splash screen.
Mobile Number and OTP
On-Boarding Screens
In the previous design there was no on-boarding process for user verification, to avoid wrong people(Scammers) to enter our platform, we added the on-boarding screens.
Dashboard
- In the new design we have made the dashboard (Home Screen) Simpler and have given option to add money to Wallet and Leads list view for easier lead purchase for the agents(Our Users)
