What are the best places for women to live and work in the UK?
Where’s the best place in the UK for women in work? Wandsworth in London was named the best place in the UK for women in work, that’s according to a new study from SmartSurvey. High Peak in the East Midlands is ranked bottom of the index in 297th position.
Five of the top 10 spots were taken by London boroughs, with the capital having some of the best scoring locations for women in senior roles. Wales also scored highly, with three locations from the country landing in the top ten. Anglesey has the lowest gender pay gap at -9.7%, with Carmarthenshire, Anglesey, and Denbighshire having a high percentage of women in the workforce.
