Just yesterday( 9th March 2021), Piers Morgan decided to leave Good Morning Britain after six years on the show, after he made a row of comments he made on air about the Duchess of Sussex, following the controversial Harry and Megan Interview with Oprah. Morgan stated that he did not believe a word the Duchess of Sussex shared with Oprah among other strong opinions. 

After making so many derogatory statements about the Duchess of Sussex, over 41,015 complaints were issued against the controversial journalist and TV host. Although Piers faced a tremendous backlash, he was all too comfortable to leave the show and has since stuck by his decision, even sharing Tweets that he is more than comfortable to “die on the hill of freedom of speech”.
